Tryout DEETS 

In order to tryout for the EDGE Esports Competitive Program / Varsity Team, students must:

1. Attend school within the Coastal Bend area. Public, private, charter, and homeschool students are eligible.
2. Be a middle school or high school student age 12 – 18 with passing grades.

What to expect If You Make the Team

Congratulations—you’ve earned your spot on one of the most dynamic esports squads around! Here’s what comes next:

• Secure Your Spot: Upon acceptance, you’ll receive an official offer and must pay the program registration fee to join the team, gain access to exclusive resources, and represent EDGE ESPORTS.
• Team Integration: Get fitted for your EDGE gear, join team channels, and start building chemistry with your squad.
• Competitive Calendar: Dive into league matches, tournaments, and playoffs with structured support every step of the way.

Weekly Practice & Match Schedule:

DAY	TIME	FOCUS
MONDAYS	4:30–7:00 PM	Fortnite & Mario Kart players (matches + practice)
TUESDAYS	4:30–7:00 PM	Smash players (matches + practice)
WEDNESDAYS	4:30–7:00 PM	All players (practice only—no matches)

Additional scrims, strategy sessions, and tournament weekends may be scheduled as needed. Commitment to the schedule is key to success!
